Ethics Review Committee, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna
History:
The committee was inaugurated on 5th November 1981 at the 18th meeting of the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Medicine to look at the ethical issues of research undertaken by the members of the Faculty. It was reorganized by the Senate and members from other Faculties were incorporated on 21st April 1992 at the 142nd meeting of the University Senate.
